WINE SELECTION

APPETIZER

Pinot Gris, Sokol Blosser "Dundee Hills" 2006, Oregon

Juicy apple and white peach aromas and flavors mingle nicely with wet stone, mineral, subtle baking spices and a touch of cream. Very nice, complex focused finish.

SEAFOOD
Chardonnay, Louisvale "Devon Valley" 2006, South Africa
Barrel fermentation and 8 months on the lees produce a stylish, flavorful wine that portrays fine flavors of lemons, melons with fine oak and yeast. This wine delights with a very long finish.

GAME
Pinot Noir, Torii Mor "Deux Verres Reserve" 2005, Oregon
The 2006 “Deux Verres” aroma is forward, displaying red and dark cherries, raspberry jam and chocolate. The flavors display a sweet mix of cherries with more red cherries showing at first, followed by s mix of dark cherries-blackberries and dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is rich and long and the wine has a solid structure with sweet and round tannins.

ENTRÉE
Zinfandel, Dry Creek Vineyard "Old Vine" 2005, California
At the first swirl the 2005 vintage displays a spicy, lush black fruit character that leaps from the glass. On the palate, classical briary and raspberry flavors appear with layers of white pepper and cardamom adding a spicy complexity. The finish displays additional spice and smoky vanilla from the French oak, leading to a long and satisfying aftertaste.

DESSERT
Roussanne, McCrea "Late Harvest" 2003, Washington
Orange and peach blossom aromas and flavors are characteristic of the variety. It brings a basket full of pears, a hint of coconut and a dash of anise to any dessert. The wine from this vintage will be lush with slightly higher alcohols, balanced by greater fruit intensity, tannins and excellent acidity.
